Men’s Track and Field Travels to Ashland

ASHLAND, Oh. – The Penn State Behrend men's track and field team traveled to Ashland, Ohio to compete in the Ashland Alumni Open on Saturday.

Chris Drozynski (Stoneboro, PA/Lakeview) dropped a personal-best time of 4:02.95 in the 1500m run to qualify him for the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Championships. He finished in fourth place.

Timothy Wheeler (Albion, PA/Northwestern) took eighth in the 3000m steeplechase with a final time of 10:46.52.

In the pole vault, Jack Georgetson (Aliquippa, PA/Hopewell) and Kevin Stebick (Waterford, PA/Fort LeBoeuf) both leaped at a height of 11' 3.5" (4.05m) for 10th place.

Behrend returns to the track on Friday, May 4 to compete in the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Championships.
