Men's Indoor Track & Field Opens Season at Mt. Union

ALLIANCE, Ohio – The Penn State Behrend men's indoor track & field team opened the season at the Mt. Union Toy Drive Collegiate Invitational in the Patterson Field House on Saturday afternoon.

Key Moments:

* The Lions had four first-place finishes on the day; No team score was calculated
* Sophomore Braeden Smith (Erie, PA/Seneca) was first in the high jump with a leap of 6-06
* Freshman Zachary Tingley (Stoneboro, PA/Lakeview) cross the finish line first in the 800m to beat a field of 14 with a time of 2:01.53
* Junior Chris Drozynski (Stoneboro, PA/Lakeview) won the mile with a time of 4:32.11
* Junior Kyle Grimm (Beaver, PA/Beaver) had the top height in the pole vault for first place (13-06.250
