Men's Track and Field Finishes Day One of CSAC Championships.

LAPLUME, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's track & field team traveled to LaPlume, PA on Saturday to compete in day one of the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Championships.

Key Moments: 

* The Lions took first, fourth, and fifth in the javelin throw led by Colby Tarr (Uniontown, PA/Laurel Highlands) who had a toss of 43.35m
* Levko Higgins (Palmyra, PA/Palmyra Area) and Johnathan Wu (Acton, MA/Acton Boxborough) finished fourth and fifth, respectively
* Behrend also took all top six spots in the men's pole vault event
* Jack Georgetson (Aliquippa, PA/Hopewell) led the way followed by Nick LaChut (Pittsburgh, PA/Baldwin), Kevin Stebick (Waterford, PA/Fort LeBoeuf), Elijah Dangrow (Greenville, PA/Greenville), Kyle Grimm (Beaver, PA/Beaver Area), and Islam Daghestani (Meadville, PA/Meadville Area)
* Nick Post (Union City, PA/Seneca) took home silver in the 10,000m run with a time of 36:51.40
* Chris Drozynski (Stoneboro, PA/Lakeview) finished third in the men's 1500m run, scoring six points for the Lions
* Matt Michael (Erie, PA/Iroquois) and John LaRoche (Union City, PA/Seneca) finished third in fourth in the hammer throw event with throws of 40.11m and 40.04m, respectively
* Braeden Smith (Erie, PA/Seneca) tallied fifth place in the triple jump with a leap of 11.52m
