Men's Track and Field Pole Vault Team Ranked First in NCAA Division III

ERIE, Pa. – The men's track and field pole vault team of Nick Lachut (Pittsburgh, PA/Baldwin), Kyle Grimm (Beaver, PA/Beaver Area), Jack Georgetson (Aliquippa, PA/Hopewell), and Elijah Dangrow (Greenville, PA/Greenville) is ranked the top pole vault event squad in NCAA Division III Men's Indoor Track and Field based on the USTFCCCA #EventSquad rankings, announced Tuesday.

Lachut, Grimm, and Dangrow had top marks last weekend at the Jim Wuske Invitational hosted by Mount Union. Lachut and Grimm had career-best heights of 4.81m and 4.61m, respectively. Dangrow cleared 4.46m, an indoor PR. Georgetson had his top mark at the Robert Kane Invitational on February 1, hosted by Cornell with a height of 4.51m.

The men's track and field team as a whole is ranked fourth in the Mideast Region this week while the women broke the Top 10, ranking ninth.
