Men's Track and Field Takes 19th at AARTFC Championship

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's track and field team finished the All-Atlantic Region Track and Field Conference (AARTFC) Championships in 19th place, registering 18.5 team points.

Noteworthy:

* Dan Dabrowksi (Harborcree, PA/Harborcreek) grabbed bronze by setting another career best in the discus with a toss of 50.92m
* That mark currently ranks Dabrowski 10th in NCAA Division III
* Eric Stehlik (Northport, NY/Northport) finished sixth in the 100m at 10.98
* Stehlik set a personal record in the 200m (22.00) for a 10th place finish
* Blake Burns (Jefferson, OH/Jefferson Area) finished in fourth in the 110m hurdles, setting a new PR at 15.17
* Stehlik, Burns, Anand Bhambhwani (Pittsburgh, PA/Mt. Lebanon) and Samuel Hetrick (New Bethlehem, PA/Redbank Valley) took 15th in the 4x100 relay with a season-best 43.24
* Aiden Domencic (Cranberry Twp., PA/Seneca Valley), Kody Klein (North East, PA/Cathedral Prep), Zachary Tingley (Stoneboro, PA/Lakeview) and Phoenix Myers (Erie, PA/Seneca) placed 13th in the 4x800m
* Hetrick finished in fourth in the high jump with a mark of 1.92m
* Ryan Festa (Horsham, PA/Hatboro-Horsham) and Nick Lachut (Pittsburgh, PA/Baldwin) finished in 11th and 13th in the pole vault, respectively
* Jake Rose (Lawrence Park, PA/Iroquois) concluded the shot put in 23rd with a mark of 13.50m

* Behrend will send Hetrick and Braeden Smith (Erie, PA/Seneca) to the NCAA Championships next week as both qualified in the high jump
