Men's Volleyball Wins Three Unanswered Sets to Defeat Wilson

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's volleyball team won three unanswered sets to defeat Wilson 3-1 in non-conference action on Sunday afternoon.

The Lions (4-7) fell in the first set 27-25, before bouncing back to win 25-19, 25-20 and 25-21. Trenton Munk (Baden, PA/Ambridge) tallied 16 kills with seven blocks and Calvin Nowicki (Eden, NY/Eden) recorded 33 assists and six digs.

Behrend tallied 10 kills in each the second and third sets for a six and five-point and then tallied a match-high 15 kills in the fourth set.

Robert McMaster (North Huntingdon, PA/Norwin) led with 14 digs and added two assists on the day. Dillon Hildebrand (Red Lion, PA/Red Lion) and Nowicki contributed seven kills.

The Lions return to action on Thursday against D'Youville. Match time is 7 p.m.
