Munk Earns All-UVC Second-Team Honors

ERIE, Pa. – Penn State Behrend men's volleyball senior middle hitter Trenton Munk (Baden, PA/Ambridge) has been named to the 2017 United Volleyball Conference (UVC) All-Conference Team, announced on Wednesday.

Munk is making his third appearance on the All-UVC team. He earned a spot on the second team after being selected an honorable mention the past two seasons. Munk ranks second in the UVC and in NCAA Division III statistics in blocks per set (1.20), while ranking third in hitting percentage (.398) and eighth in kills per set (2.92) in the conference.

This season, Munk led the team with 277 kills and 114 blocks to break the all-time record in both categories. He registered double-digit kills in 16 matches, three of which he did not record an attack error. Munk also tied a career high with 20 kills against Mt. St. Vincent and made a season-best eight blocks at Wilkes.

Munk leaves the program with 798 kills and 323 blocks, while also holding the record for attack percentage (.395) over his four-year career.
