ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's volleyball team welcomes the Mt. Union Purple Raiders to the Junker Center for a non-conference match on Thursday at 7 p.m.

* Junior Dillon Hildebrand (Red Lion, PA/Red Lion) is 58 kills away from breaking the all-time kills record in program history. Trenton Munk (2014-17) holds the record at 798
* Hildebrand also needs seven aces to break the all-time record held by Ty Sheehan (2012-15) at 66
* Junior defensive specialist Josh Mathews (Rochester, NY/Churchville-Chili) is close to breaking the single-season record for service aces. He needs nine to reset the record by Antonio Vazquez at 35 aces

* The Purple Raiders are 8-18 overall and is coming off a 3-1 loss to Hiram on Tuesday night
* This is the first varsity season for Mt. Union
* The Purple Raiders are averaging 10.0 assists and digs per set, but have a .159 hitting percentage
* Freshman Mark Burns ranks 12th in NCAA Division III statistics in kills per set with 3.66

Series History:

* The Lions and Purple Raiders are meeting for the second time this season and in program history
