HIRAM, Ohio – The Penn State Behrend men's volleyball team fell short of capturing the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Championship, falling to No. 1 Hiram in five sets on Saturday afternoon.

* Hiram claimed their first conference championship while halting the Behrend Lions from winning their second in program history
* The Terriers won the evens set to keep rallying back from being down to force a fifth set
* The two teams battled to five sets during the regular season, but this match had a title on the line
* The Lions had a grip on the match, taking a 2-1 lead and needing one more set for the win
* Tied at 25-all in the first set, Alex Jackson (Cochranton, PA/Cochranton) was instrumental in getting Behrend the final two points to take the early lead
