Kean Takes Behrend Men's Volleyball in Three

GENEVA, NY – The Kean men's volleyball team swept Penn State Behrend in three sets in the final game of the 2024 Hobart Tournament on Saturday afternoon.

Key Moments:

* Kean used identical scores in all three sets to collect its first win of the season
* The Cougars hit .365 for the match behind 40 kills, while holding the Lions to 27 kills
* Owen Wienczkowski (Waterford, PA/Fort LeBeouf) hit. 750, going 9-for-12 to lead the Behrend attack
* Daniel Easly (Erie, PA/McDowell) and Kevin Skweres (White Oak, PA/Norwin) tallied five kills each
* Alex Jackson (Cochranton, PA/Cochranton) tallied 21 assists, three aces and two kills
* Jackson had two services aces in a row and Behrend capitalized on an attack error to get within two at 13-11 in the third set, trying to gain momemetum
* From there, the Lions tied it twice, including 17-all
* Kean went on an 8-3 run to end the set and the match
