NEW LONDON, Conn. – The Penn State Behrend men's water polo team wrapped up play early Sunday morning in the Connecticut College Invite.
Iona 19, Penn State Behrend 4
* Alijah Santangelo (Perkasie, PA/Pennridge) led Penn State Behrend with five blocks.
* Norberto Menendez (Miami, FL/Belen Jesuti Prep) chipped in with two steals.
* Isaak Hatopp (Saline, MI/Saline) scored two goals against the Gaels.
Saturday's Results
Penn State Behrend 12, Connecticut College 10
* Collin Holmes and Isaak Hatopp led the offensive efforts with four goals each.
* Austin Hoff added three goals, two steals, and two assists.
* Joshua Koornneef chipped in four assists and drew two kickouts. Greg Kinzler added three steals and two assists.
* Goalie Matt Olimski tallied eight saves and three steals.
Cal Lutheran 16, Penn State Behrend 4
* Matt Olimski made 11 saves against Cal Lutheran.
* Kyle Frerichs tallied three steals.
* Collin Holmes scored twice and Isaak Hatopp and Greg Kinzler added one goal apiece.
MIT 16, Penn State Behrend 6
* Matt Olimski tallied seven saves and Alijah Santagelo (Perkasie, PA/Pennridge) chipped in with five saves.
* Austin Hoff led the Behrend offense against MIT with two goals.
* Isaak Hatopp, Dario Gonzalez, Collin Holmes and Tristan Ascanio each scored one goal.
