ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's water polo team will take on Salem at home on Friday before competing in the Mercyhurst Invite on Saturday.

* The Lions are coming into the contest with a 1-1 record
* Behrend competed in the W&J Invite on Saturday competing against W&J and Gannon
* The Lions won game one against the Presidents 13-9
* Isaak Hatopp (Saline, MI/Saline) led the team offensively with four goals while Matt Olimski (San Diego, CA/Otay Ranch) posted 14 saves in goal along with five steals
* Behrend then fell to Gannon, 17-9
* Olimski finished the game with 11 saves
* The Lions had equal scoring with eight players each securing a goal

* The Salem Tigers currently have a 2-3 record
* Salem competed in The Rare Air- Air Force Invitational last weekend coming out with a 1-3 record including a win over University of La Verne
* Washington & Jefferson stands at a 1-2 record
* The Presidents fell to Behrend and Mercyhurst before receiving a forfeit victory over Gannon last weekend
* La Salle competed in the Navy Invite this past weekend finishing with a 1-3 record
* The Explorers fell to No. 12 Princeton, No. 2 UCLA and Fordham while coming out with a victory over Austin
