Men's Water Polo Competes in MPSF Championship This Weekend

ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's water polo team will travel to Berkley, California to compete in the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) Championship Tournament hosted by University of California from November 22-24.

* The Lions are coming into championship weekend with a 6-12 overall record
* Behrend competed in the Austin College Invite on November 9, falling to Arizona Ottawa and Austin
* The Austin Kangaroos took down the Lions, 13-8
* Andre Sardaryzadeh (Murrieta, CA/Elsinore) tallied two goals and two steals in the loss
* Behrend holds the top four spots in the MPSF in steals this season
* Matt Olimski (San Diego, CA/Otay Ranch) (35) is followed by Jacob Harkins (Hollywood, FL/Saint Thomas Aquinas) (26), Greg Kinzler (Kiski, PA/Agora Cyber Charter School) (24) and Isaak Hatopp (Saline, MI/Saline) (21)
