Men's Water Polo Drops Two on Opening Day of MPSF Championship

PALO ALTO, Calif. - The Penn State Behrend men's water polo team lost twice on day one of the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) Tournament on Friday, taking losses to Austin and UCLA. 

Final Scores:

Game 1: Austin 19, Penn State Behrend 8
Game 2: No. 3 UCLA 26, No. 6 Penn State Behrend 3 

Key Moments:
* Jack Holl (Greenwich, CT/Greenwich) scored four goals in the game one loss 
* Leyton Vrono (Murrieta, CA/Murrieta Valley) made nine saves in goal while facing 40 shots
* The 'Roos scored six fourth quarter goals to close out the win, claiming the No. 5 seed
* The Lion loss named them the No. 6 seed for the remainder of the tournament 
* Behrend lost to No. 3 UCLA in game two with 11 different Bruins finding the score sheet 
* Lyor Lyubronetsky (Gouldboro, PA/James Madison), Eli Anderson (Encinitas, CA/San Dieguito) and Matt Schnelle (Loveland, OH/Milford) each scored in game two
* Devin Lockard (Edgewood, WA/Puyallup) made six saves in between the pipes against the Bruins
