ERIE, Pa. – Sophomore hurler Rachel Miller (North East, PA/North East) has been named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Softball Pitcher of the Week.
Miller went 2-0 in the circle this week, getting wins against Pitt-Bradford and Altoona. She gave up just five earned runs and struck out 10 in her two appearances. Miller pitched 15.1 innings, 10 of which were in a 2-1 victory against defending AMCC Champions Altoona.
Miller is currently second in the AMCC with 1.84 ERA, third in strikeouts with 50, and fifth with five wins.
