Clark Named Softball Assistant Coach

ERIE, Pa. – Heather Clark (Corry, PA/Corry) has been named the first-ever full-time assistant softball coach for the Penn State Behrend Lions. She had previous coaching stints with Girard, Northwestern and Mercyhurst High Schools, before serving as the graduate assistant coach for the Edinboro University softball team.

Clark was a four-time All-County player at Corry High School and was the only player to hit a home run out of the park at Corry. She was offered an Olympic tryout at the age of 16 and made it to the second round.

Clark continued her collegiate career at Edinboro University from 1993-96. She was named first team All-Conference as a catcher sophomore year and then again as an outfielder her junior season. Clark holds the batting average (.415) and triples (16) record with the Fighting Scots.

She earned her undergraduate degree in individualized studies in 2012 and a masters degree in communication studies in 2017.
