* On Wednesday, the Lions posted a pair of shutout victories over Hilbert in five innings
* Pitchers Ashleigh Schmidt (Sarver, PA/Freeport) and Kayla Lindberg (Austinburg, OH/Geneva) each threw three-hit shutouts
* Schmidt and Lindberg fanned six batters apiece on the day
* In game one, Sierra Williams (Grove City, PA/Lakeview) tallied her first collegiate home run
