CRESSON, Pa. – Brittany Wilwohl (Erie, PA/Villa Maria Academy) had her second straight 20+ point game, going 7-for-8 from the charity stripe for a team-best 20 points to lead Penn State Behrend past Mt. Aloysius 60-52 in Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) women's basketball action on Sunday afternoon.

Playing back-to-back conference games two days in a row, the Lions grabbed the lead in the first half and held on for their fourth consecutive win. Holly Bourquin (Pittsburgh, PA/Fox Chapel) added 14 points, while Julia Myers (Edinboro, PA/General McLane) tallied eight points and the same number of rebounds.

Spring Krepps and Lindsy Sammarco each recorded 14 points for the Mounties (4-8, 2-4 AMCC).

After averaging 78.0 points in the last three games, Behrend was held to just 60 points but it was enough to keep the winning streak alive and a second-place standing in the AMCC.

The Lions never trailed in the first half, although Dani Rhoades' three-pointer with 2:31 knotted the game at 19-all. Emily Detsch (St. Mary's, PA/Elk County Catholic) made a layup and Kimmy Pol (Erie, PA/Collegiate Academy) knocked down a layup along with her second triple of the season to put Behrend ahead 26-20.

Myers added four straight points and Wilwohl finished the half with a jumper for an 11-point lead at 32-21.

The Lions kept the double-digit lead into the second half, building it to 16 points after a Bourquin layup with 7:32 remaining.

A 12-0 run and six of those points from the line by the Mounties made it a four-point contest at the 2:56 mark. Behrend was sent to the line 10 times, converting on eight chances in the final two minutes to secure the win.

The Lions return to action on Wednesday against Pitt-Bradford at the Junker Center. Game time is 8 p.m.
