Burke Named First-Team All-Conference

ERIE, Pa. – Senior guard Ally Burke (Erie, PA/Mercyhurst) has been named to the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) women's basketball All-Conference team, announced on Tuesday.

Burke, who was named to the third team a year ago, earned a spot on the first team to finish her career.  This season, she led the league in scoring with 20.2 points per game and was third in free-throw percentage (.795). Burke scored 20 or more points in 13 games and was the leading scorer in 21 of 25 games played.  She started in all but one game and paced the squad with 44 steals.

Burke became the 11th player in program history reach the 1,000-point plateau and ranks second all-time in the amount of games it took her to hit that mark over four years. She notched her career high of 34 points in a win over D'Youville on Dec. 3, hitting three triples and going 9-for-10 from the charity stripe.
