Haslett's Career Night Helps Behrend Past Hilbert

HAMBURG, N.Y. – Kara Haslett (Baden, PA/Ambridge) registered a career-high 24 points and career-best 12 assists to lead the Penn State Behrend women's basketball team past Hilbert 88-71 in the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) on Wednesday night.

Key Moments:

* Haslett led the team in scoring for the third time this season and posted her first double-double
* The senior guard also had career highs in field goals (10) and field-goal attempts (23)
* Haslett put up 12 points in the first half, while senior Alanna Dibble (Lakewood, NY/Southwestern) posted 13 points in the second half
* The Lions had their second highest offensive output this season with 88 points
* Behrend improves its winning streak to six straight
* The Lions shot 44.7 percent from the floor and 90.0 percent from the charity stripe
* All nine players who got in the game for Behrend scored 
* Dibble finished with 17 points and a team-high 11 rebounds for her third double-double
* Freshman Rachel Majewski (Erie, PA/Villa Maria Academy) had a season-high 14 points
* Hilbert drained 10 three pointers and had four players in double-figure points
