WASHINGTON, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend wrestling team placed 11th out of 14 teams with 50 points at the Washington & Jefferson Invitational on Saturday afternoon.

Key Moments
* At 184, Jake Paulson (Erie, PA/McDowell) placed third overall with a 3-1 record on the day. The sophomore started with a 9-1 major decision in his first match and then posted an 18-1 technical fall to advance the semifinals. Paulson got pinned before winning the third-place match by forfeit.
* Sophomore Levko Higgins (Palmyra, PA/Palmyra Area) also placed for the Lions. At 174, he tallied a technical fall before pinning his opponent in 4:16. Higgins then fell 9-6 in the semifinals and then placed fourth after a close 5-4 loss.
