ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend wrestling team will travel to University Heights, Ohio to compete at the John Carroll Duals on Sunday. The Lions will face John Carroll, Urbana, Waynesburg and Lourdes throughout the day.

* Last time out, the Lions placed 11th out of 14 teams with 50 points at the W&J Invitational last Saturday
* Sophomore Jake Paulson (Erie, PA/McDowell) and sophomore Levko Higgins (Palmyra, PA/Palmyra Area) each placed for Behrend
* At 184, Paulson placed third overall with a 3-1 record on the day. His wins came by major decision, technical fall and forfeit
* At 174, Higgins took fourth overall. He used a technical fall to advance and then pinned his opponent in 4:16 to get into the semifinals before falling 5-4 in the third-place match
* Four other wrestlers picked up a win on the day, eventually falling in the consolation bracket
* Paulson leads the team with a 4-1 record on the season
