Wrestling Falls to Lycoming and Thiel

GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend wrestling team dropped a pair of dual matches, falling to Lycoming 42-8 and Thiel 39-14 on Friday night.

Key Moments:

* Sophomores Jake Paulson (Erie, PA/McDowell and Levko Higgins (Palmyra, PA/Palmyra Area) each went 2-0 on the night.
* Paulson tallied a technical fall (18-2) against Lycoming at the 184 weight class, before earning an 18-4 major decision vs. Thiel
* Higgins tallied four points with a major decision vs. Lycoming at 174 (10-2) and then pinned his opponent vs. the Tomcats in 6:09 for six points
* Freshman 125-pounder Michael Binni (Canonsburg, PA/Canon McMillan) gave the Lions the only lead against Thiel in the first match with a 14-2 major decision for a 4-0 edge
