ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend women’s soccer team and the Penn State Altoona Lions battled thru 110 minutes of soccer to end at a 1-all standstill in Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) action on Saturday.

Both teams entered the game undefeated in conference action and left that the same way. Jaclyn Stottlemyer, who scored the game-winning goal against Medaille, put Behrend (9-5-1, 5-0-1 AMCC) ahead in the 27thminute on a penalty kick.

Altoona’s Nikki Supsic evened the game at the 58:03 mark off an assist by Lindsey Benner. Neither team would find the back of the net through the remaining regulation and two overtimes.

Behrend held a 4-2 shot advantage in overtime, but Altoona held an overall edge in shots, 14-10.

Robin Siegenthaler came away with four saves for Behrend, while Lindsay Raspanti tallied three stops.

The Lions return to action on Wednesday at Hilbert. Game time is 1 p.m.
