Lions Set to Take on Pitt-Greensburg in AMCC Championship

ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend women's soccer team will travel to Westmoreland Community College on Saturday to take on the Pitt-Greensburg Bobcats in the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Championship game beginning at 2 p.m.

* The Lions took down Mt. Aloysius on Wednesday in the AMCC Semifinals 3-2 in overtime
* Freshman Bella Sestito (Jefferson Hills, PA/Thomas Jefferson) scored the game winner in the 91st minute to advance to the championship
* Behrend is looking to secure their ninth straight AMCC title and 15th overall

* The Bobcats defeated D'Youville 1-0 in overtime on Wednesday in the AMCC Semifinal to advance to the Championship
* Tiffany Michalek scored the lone goal in the 96th minute with a header off a corner kick
* Pitt-Greensburg was named the regular season champions going 9-0-1 in the AMCC and 18-0-1 overall
* Michalek has 18 goals on the season for second best in the AMCC while teammate Ashley Lucas leads with 22 goals and 55 total points

* The Lions have a 18-3-2 lead over the Bobcats in the all-time series dating back to 2000
* Behrend fell to Pitt-Greensburg 2-0 in the regular season on October 26
