Behrend Women's Soccer Seniors Take Care of Carlow

ERIE, Pa. – Audra Kuzma (Center, PA/Central Valley) and Trinity Prestash (Phillipsburg, PA/West Branch) each scored twice to lead the No. 24 Penn State Behrend women's soccer team past Carlow 8-0 in Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) action on Saturday.

* The Lions, who clinched a playoff spot, are one win away from securing the No. 1 seed for the AMCC Tournament
* Behrend has nine in a row and completed the regular season 7-1 at home
* Three out of the six seniors found the back of the net on Senior Day
* Prestash and Kuzma each had two goals in the first half
* As a team, the Lions scored five goals in the opening 21 minutes of the game
* Prestash dished out two assists on Kuzma's goals starting with the eventual game winner 1:40 into the contest

* Prestash had a hand in the final three goals, scoring two and assist Kuzma again
* The Lions added three more goals in the second half
* Emily Samluk (Erie, PA/Fort LeBoeuf) registered her fourth goal off an assist from Alayna Winters (Clearfield, PA/Clearfield) in the 71st minute, before Sydnee Barnett (Doylestown, OH/Chippewa) tallied her second goal off a penalty kick with 3:26 left to play
* The final goal belonged to Annie Klingensmith (Murrysville, PA/Franklin Regional), her first of the season
* Natalie Held (North Royalton, OH/North Royalton) recorded her first collegiate assist on Klingesmith's goal to make it 8-0
* Prestash is up to 18 goals on the season and 61 career goals, putting her five away from breaking the program record
