ALLIANCE, Ohio – The Mount Union women's swimming and diving team were too much for Penn State Behrend, posting a 147-65 victory in non-conference action on Sunday afternoon.
Meghan Wade (Berea, OH/Berea) won both one-meter diving events for the Lions. For five dives she earned a score of 171.30 and in six dives she recorded a 242.60 mark for first place.
Alex Isaacson (Wiliamsport, PA/Williamsport) was the winner in the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:57.28 and Rachel Skaluba (Sparta, NJ/Sparta) was second in 3:10.26.
Skaluba then anchored the winning 400 freestyle relay to end the meet. Sarah Jelinek (Warren, PA/Warren) ,Georgie Hatch (Middletown, MD/Middletown) and Hannah Kelly (Elizabeth, PA/South Allegheny) completed the team and clocked in at 4:41.26.
Behrend returns to action tomorrow on Saturday at St. Vincent. Meet time is 1 p.m.
