ERIE, Pa. - Penn State Behrend senior Gwen Lowery (Bellefonte, PA/Bellefonte) was named Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Women's Swimmer of the Week, announced Monday.
Lowery tallied four wins at Alfred State on Saturday. She finished first in the 200 freestyle (2:06.59), the 100 butterfly (1:07.70) and the 200 IM (2:25.60), while swimming a leg of the 400 medley relay.
The Lions host Westminster this Saturday in their home opener. Meet begins at 2 p.m.
