ERIE, Pa. – Penn State Behrend freshman Marcella Puglia (Beaver Falls, PA/Blackhawk) has been the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Women's Swimmer of the Week, announced on Monday.
Puglia led the Lions on Saturday against Westminster. She tallied four wins on the day, touching first in the 200 freestyle (2:04.24), 500 freestyle (5:37.97), 200 IM (2:23.69) and then swam on the winning 200 free relay.
Behrend returns to action on Saturday against Chatham in the Junker Center Pool. Meet begins at 1 p.m.
