ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend women's swimming and diving team will host Washington & Jefferson in their first home meet of the New Year. The meet begins at 1 p.m. in the Junker Center Pool.

* The women's team traveled to Florida for a training trip over the holidays
* The Lions competed against Allegheny while in Florida but the meet did not result in a team score
* Last time out, Behrend finished second out of five teams at the Fredonia Blue Devil Invitational
* Marcella Puglia (Beaver Falls, PA/Blackhawk) had the best finish of the three-day Blue Devil Invitational, placing second in the 1650 freestyle in 18:37.80)
* The Lions are still in search of their first dual-meet win (0-4)
