ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend women's swimming and diving team recorded their first dual-meet victory of the season with a 118-61 decision over Washington & Jefferson on Saturday afternoon.

* The Lions won 10 out of the 15 events
* Barbie Cessar (Slippery Rock, PA/Slippery Rock), Abigail Witmer (Herndon, VA/Herndon) and Jessica Wyckoff (Elma, NY/Iroquois) each won three events, two individual and one relay
* Marcella Puglia (Beaver Falls, PA/Blackhawk), Cessar, Witmer and Wyckoff led Behrend in the winning 200 medley relay with a time of 2:02.96.

* Witmer – 200 butterfly (2:31.64), 200 backstroke (2:25.90)
* Paola Maldonado (San Juan, Puerto Rico) – 100 freestyle (59.83)
