Women's Tennis Falls in Opener to Medaille

ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend women's tennis team dropped its first match of the season, falling to Medaille 8-1 in Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) action on Friday night.

Score: Medaille 8, Behrend 1

Records: Medaille (1-0, 1-0 AMCC), Behrend (0-1, 0-1 AMCC)

Key Moments:

* The Lions picked up their only win at No. 1 doubles
* Alexis Brunelle (Hamburg, NY/Hamburg) and Jada Donatien (Brooklyn, NY/Fairview) pick up their first collegiate doubles win with 8-2 victory in
* Donatien won her first set (6-0) and then took her opponent into extra games in the second set (7-5) before falling in the tiebreaker set (10-8)    
* Medaille won the final two doubles matches and swept the singles for its first conference win of the season
