ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend women's tennis team will host the Franciscan Barons today in an Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) match on Friday afternoon at the tennis courts.

* The Lions are ranked seventh in the conference with a 1-5 overall record and 1-4 mark in the AMCC
* Behrend is looking to snap a three-match losing skid
* The Lions recently fell to Penn State Altoona and Mt. Aloysius over the weekend, both by a score of 8-1
* Hadley Howell (Harborcreek, PA/Harbor Creek) tallied the lone point for the Lions in each match
* Howell won 6-4 at No. 4 singles vs. Altoona before the match was retired
* Howell then came from behind to win at No. 4 vs. Mt. Aloysius in a tiebreaker set (5-7, 6-3, 10-4)

* The Barons are undefeated in the AMCC with a 4-0 record
* Franciscan is second in the conference behind Medaille
* The Barons have won three in a row and have a 5-3 overall record
* Franciscan is coming off a 7-2 win over Grove City on Tuesday
