Lions Compete At Allegheny Invitational

MEADVILLE, Pa. – A few of Penn State Behrend's top women track and field athletes competed at the annual Gator Invitational held at Allegheny, Saturday.

Jenna Fatica was the highlight of the day, the senior placed fourth but beat out here own two-year standing school record in the 800m. Fatica ran a 2:18.44, just three-tenths faster than here previous best. Katie Spade recorded a time 2:22.20.

In the 200m race, Mandy Wehrle clocked in at 26.59 seconds.

Two Lions participated in field events, Katie Monoskey in the discus (33.21m) and hammer (40.27m) and Stephanie Stoughton in the javelin, 31.60m.
