ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend women's indoor track & field program travels to two meets this weekend. The team will be competing in the Edinboro invite on Friday and the Kenyon College Classic on Saturday.

* The Lions most previously competed in the Tiffin Dragon invite on Saturday
* Behrend placed third out of 12 teams with a score of 61
* Senior Jenna Shelton (Cabot, PA/Knoch) took down the competition winning the mile run and beating all other runners by more than seven seconds with a time that qualified her for the All Atlantic meet
* Haley Yenchik (Cecil, PA/Canon McMillan) placed in three events including a second-place finish in the pole vault, fourth in the triple jump, and second in the 4x400m
* Along with Yechik, Shelton, Gabriella Loeffler (Pittsburgh, PA/Baldwin), and Suraihyah Sule (Snellville, GA) were members of the second place 4x400m team
* Riley Crissman (Bradford, PA/Bradford) and Emily Mischen (Gibsonia, PA/Deer Lakes) broke both school records
* Crissman broke her personal school record in the 3000m run while Mischen broke the record in the shot put
