GAMBIER, Ohio – The Penn State Behrend women's indoor track & field team competed in the Kenyon College Classic in Gambier, Ohio on Saturday.
Key Moments:
* As a team, Behrend finished fifth with a total team score of 74
* Haley Yenchik (Cecil, PA/Canon McMillan) finished in first place in the women's pole vault, scoring 10 points for the team
* Yenchik also scored another eight points for the Lions, placing second in the triple jump with a leap of 9.92m
* Along with these two races, Yenchik also took fourth in the 60m dash totaling 23 points for the team
* Junior Riley Crissman (Bradford, PA/Bradford) won the women's 5000m run with a time of 18:29.39
* In the mile run, Courtney Sargent (Erie, PA/Collegiate Academy) finished second with a new PR of 5:23.44
* Gabriella Loeffler (Pittsburgh, PA/Baldwin) finished second in the 400m dash with a time of 1:02.17
* Savanna Carr (Franklin, PA/Franklin Area) pulled in eight points for the Lions with a second place finish in the 3000m run
* The 4x400m relay team of Suraihyah Sule (Snellville, GA), Yenchik, Jenna Shelton (Cabot, PA/Knoch), and Loeffler finished in first place receiving 10 points for the Lions
