Track and Field Athletes Named CSAC Performers of the Week

ERIE, Pa. – Penn State Behrend track and field athletes Antonio Stello (Punxsutawney, PA/Punxsutawney), Emily Mischen (Gibsonia, PA/Deer Lakes), Jenna Shelton (Cabot, PA/Knoch), and Elijah Dangrow (Greenville, PA/Greenville) were named Colonial State Athletic Conference (CSAC) athletes of the week, announced on Tuesday.

Stello earned Track Athlete of the Week for winning three different events at the Carnegie Mellon quad meet. Stello came first in the 100m (11.52) and the 200m (22.61). He also was a member of the winning 4x100m team, finishing with a time of 43.53.

Dangrow was named the Field Athlete of the Week for taking first in the men's pole vault event. Dangrow hit a PR in the pole vault with a height of 4.45m. The height he reached was also an All Atlantic qualifier.

Mischen was chosen as the Field Athlete of the Week on the women's side. She won the shot put event and finished second in the hammer throw. In the shot put, she threw a 10.53m and 35.45m in the hammer throw.

Shelton was recognized women's Track Athlete of the Week. Shelton won the 800m event with a time of 2:24.28. She was also a member of the women's 4x400m team which finished second with a 4:15.58.
