Track and Field Finishes AARTFC Championship; Men Place Ninth

ROCHESTER, NY. – The Penn State Behrend track & field team competed in day two of the All-Atlantic Regional Championships on Saturday.

Key Moments: 
* The Behrend Lions finished the AARTFC Championships on Saturday; the men's team finish in ninth place (27) while the women finish in 13th (19) 
* Junior Braeden Smith (Erie, PA/Seneca) won the bronze medal in the high jump, clearing 2.04m
Savanna Carr (Franklin, PA/Franklin Area) took home the bronze medal in the mile run, breaking the school record with a time of 5:12.26
* Jenna Shelton (Cabot, PA/Knoch) finished third in the 800m, running 2:17.10 and tallying six points for the Lions
* Phoenix Myers (Erie, PA/Seneca) ran for a fifth-place finish in the mile (4:19.89)
* Riley Crissman (Bradford, PA/Bradford) scored three points for the Lions with a sixth place mark in the 3000m while breaking the school record (10:26.11)
* The men's 4x200m team of Eric Stehlik (Northport, NY/Northport), Stello, Kurt Eberhardt (Gibsonia, PA/Hampton), Nick Lachut (Pittsburgh, PA/Baldwin) finished in sixth place, running 1:31.98
* Amory Coleman-Reeves (Erie, PA/Cathedral Prep) jumped 6.66m in the long jump, taking 10th place
* Antonio Stello (Punxsutawney, PA/Punxsutawney) registered an 11th place finish in the 200m
* Chris Drozynski (Stoneboro, PA/Lakeview) tallied a 15th place finish in the 3000m (8:54.28)
* Gabriella Loeffler (Pittsburgh, PA/Baldwin) tallied an 18th place finish in the 400m (1:01.00) and a 20th place finish in the 200m (27.40)
