Upham Takes Third in the High Jump as Lions Compete in Slippery Rock

SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend women's track and field team took part in the Dave Labor Invitational hosted by Slipper Rock University. There were no team scores for this event.

Noteworthy:

* A week after being named Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Track Athlete of the Week, Olivia Nola (Erie, PA/Collegiate Academy) came in 21st out of 79 in the 1500m (5:05.73)
* Nola also had a 10th place result in the 5000m, crossing at 19:23.16
* Ivy Laffan (Waterford, PA/Fort LeBoeuf) logged the highest finish for the Lions in the 400m on Saturday, coming in 11th in with a time of 1:03.51
* Caroline Upham (Erie, PA/Iroqouis) placed the highest in all events for Behrend, taking third in the high jump with a mark of 1.50m
* Upham also crossed in 20th during the 100m hurdles at 18.54
