GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend women's track and field team competed in the Tomcat Invitational on Saturday hosted by Thiel.
Noteworthy:
* Olivia Nola (Erie, PA/Collegiate Academy) grabbed the win in the 1500m with a time of 4:53.89
* The mark also qualified Nola for the All-Atlantic Regional Track and Field Conference (AARTFC) Championships
* Nola also had a second-place finish in the 800m, crossing in 2:28.51
* Emily Ferrans (Bradfordwoods, PA/North Allegheny) (2:32.81) and Izzy Spires (Wattsburg, PA/Seneca) (2:34.81) finished the 800m in fifth and sixth place, respectively
* Ivy Laffan (Waterford, pa/Fort LeBoeuf) collected gold, running a 60.20 and pacing all competitors in the 400m
* Caroline Upham (Erie, PA/Iroquois) came in second in the high jump with a final mark of 1.47m
