Women's Volleyball Heads to Baldwin Wallace Tonight

ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend women's volleyball team travels to Berea, Ohio for a non-conference match against Baldwin Wallace beginning at 7 p.m.

* The Lions are 6-6 on the season and have a 4-3 record when playing on the road
* Behrend went 2-2 last week, winning in three against Alfred State and posting a five-set victory against Houghton at a tri-match at RIT
* Senior Amanda Henry (Bridgeville, PA/South Fayette) averaged 2.75 kills in the week. She had double-digit kills in three matches, including a double-double with 12 kills and 14 digs against Fredonia
* Behrend posted a 3-0 win over St. Vincent and then defeated Marietta 3-1
* Sophomore libero Madison Clapper is second in the AMCC with 222 digs

Baldwin Wallace News & Notes:

* The Yellow Jackets only loss this season was to nationally-ranked (21) Swarthmore on September 1 by a score of 3-1
* Baldwin Wallace is 13-1 overall and has won 10 consecutive matches, recently recording four wins at the Golden Flyer Invitational over the weekend.
* The Yellow Jackets swept Keuka, Medaille and Nazareth while defeating St. John Fisher 3-1
* Senior outside hitter Alicia Lortcher leads the team with 97 kills and is second with 109 digs

Series History

* Behrend and Baldwin Wallace are meeting for the just the fourth time since the all-time series began in 2013. The Yellow Jackets have won the last two matches, while the Lions tallied the first victory (3-0)
* Behrend will look to even the series tonight
