ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend women's volleyball team received its seventh overall bid to the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) Championships after finishing the regular season with a 19-10 record.

The Lions are the second seed in pod 2 and will host No. 3 Wilkes on Wednesday night for first-round action, beginning at 7 p.m. The winner will advance to the semifinals at Cabrini on Saturday, November 10 and face the second-seeded McDaniel.

It is the seventh time and first since 2014 Behrend will be competing in the ECAC Tournament. The Lions won the ECAC South Region Title in 2008.

Behrend and the Colonels (18-12) are meeting for the second time in program history. The Lions defeated Wilkes 3-1 last season. The Colonels finished 1-6 in the MAC play and fell short of advancing to the conference tournament.
