Behrend Volleyball Tied For Top Spot in AMCC Preseason Poll

ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend women's volleyball team was picked to finish tied for first along with Pitt-Bradford in the 2019 Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Preseason Coaches Poll, announced on Tuesday.

The Lions won AMCC regular-season championship and finished runner up at the conference tournament. Behrend advanced to the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) Championships and concluded the season with a 20-11 overall record.

The Panthers are tied for the top spot in the poll for a second year in a row after capturing the 2018 AMCC Title. Mt. Aloysius was picked third followed by La Roche in fourth.
