ROCHESTER, NY – The Penn State Behrend women's volleyball defeated Nazareth 3-0 before falling 3-0 to host RIT in non-conference action on Saturday.

Match One:
* The Lions committed a season-low seven attack errors
* Behrend also knocked down a season-high 18 kills in the first set
* The Lions trailed 21-20 in the first set and came back to win 25-23
* Hannah Phillips (Pittsburgh, PA/North Allegheny) had a hand in three points with two kills and an ace
* With a 24-23 lead, Behrend took advantage of an attack error for a two-point win
* The Lions never trailed in the second set and took a double-digit lead at 22-12
* Behrend registered 10 kills and hit .333 to complete the sweep with a third-set victory at 25-16
* Phillips had a .480 attack percentage with 13 kills and Brooke Joncas (Corry, PA/Corry ) added 10 kills
* Meg Goodsel (Corry, PA/Corry) and Bridget Dorr (El Segundo, CA/El Segundo) tallied 18 and 15 assists, respectively
* Kelli Hoffer (DuBois, PA/DuBois) matched a season high with eight kills

* The final two sets came down to the final three points
* Ahead 22-21, RIT capitalized on a pair of errors while getting an ace from Samantha Cox for the second-set victory
* The third set was locked at 22-all and the Tigers repeated the second set and won the final three points for the match
* Phillips led with 15 kills and Joncas followed with 10
* Dorr had 22 assists and Sarah Nobach (Athens, MI/Athens) tallied 13 digs
* Breana Reynolds (CranberryTownship, PA/Seneca Valley) added three blocks and three kills
