ERIE, Pa. - The Penn State Behrend women's water polo team fell to Gannon 18-3 on Thursday evening.
Gannon scored 13 goals in the first half to earn their sixth victory of the season.
The Lions (0-3) fell behind by 12 goals after the first quarter and were never able to catch the Golden Knights. Behrend tied Gannon with two goals in the third quarter but could not carry the momentum into the final quarter.
Lindsay Musoleno (Hatfield, PA/North Penn) netted her second hat trick of the season for the Lions.
Behrend will be back in the water next Thursday. The Lions will host Grove City at 8 p.m.
