Women's Water Polo Competes in W&J Invite

ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend women's water polo team fell to McKendree, 21-6 and Wittenberg 14-10 on Saturday at the Washington & Jefferson tournament.

* In the first game, the Lions fell to McKendree 21-6
* Carson Hagood (Orlando, FL/Bishop Moore Catholic) led the team with four steals and two goals
* Lauren Wood (Vernon Hills, IL/Vernon Hills) finished with three steals, two goals, two assists, four drawn kickouts, and a drawn 5m penalty
* Daniella Rios (Guaynabo, Puerto Rico/Sagrados Corazones) had three steals, one goal, and one assists
* Junior Allison McClure (Loveland, OH/Milford) registered two steals and two assists

* Behrend fell to Wittenberg 14-10 in the second game
* Mackensie Robie (Girard, PA/Girard) had six saves in goal and one assist
* Wood led the team with five goals, three steals, two assists, two drawn kickouts, and a drawn 5m penalty
* Angela Laier (Lansing, MI/Holt) finished with two steals and one goal while McClure finished with six steals, one goal, and two assists
