Women's Water Polo Falls to Concordia and Redlands in Convergence Tournament

CLAREMONT, Ca. – The Penn State Behrend women's water polo team fell to Concordia and Redlands on Saturday at the Convergence tournament.

Game 1
* In the first game, the Lions fell to Concordia, 17-2
* Junior Allison McClure (Loveland, OH/Milford) led the team with three steals and two drawn kickouts
* Lauren Wood (Vernon Hills, IL/Vernon Hills) bucketed two goals
* Daniella Rios (Guaynabo, Puerto Rico / Sagrados Corazones) and Barbie Cessar (Slippery Rock, PA / Slippery Rock)  each tallied one steal and one assist

Game 2
* Behrend took on Redlands in the second game and fell to them with a 15-1 score
* Wood scored the Lions lone goal along with having two steals
* Mackensie Robie (Girard, PA/Girard) had six saves in goal

* Penn State Behrend returns to action on Monday at Occidental. Game time is 7 p.m.
