Women's Water Polo Records First Win Of The Season Over Utica

WASHINGTON, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend women's water polo team fell to Connecticut College and tallied their first win against Utica on Saturday at the Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Regional I at Washington & Jefferson.

Game 1
* In the first game, the Lions fell to Connecticut 16-15
* Lauren Wood (Vernon Hills, IL/Vernon Hills) led the offense for Behrend with six goals along with two assists
* Following Wood was Remy De Guzman (Mission Viejo, CA / Trabuco Hills) who tallied five goals, four steals, and one assist
* Alison McClure (Loveland, OH/Milford) had seven steals, two goals, and two assists for the Lions
* In goal, Mackensie Robie (Girard, PA/Girard) finished with six saves, three steals, and two assists

Game 2
* Behrend got their first win of the season over Utica on Saturday winning 14-8
* Wood led the team with six goals, four assists, and four steals
* De Guzman chipped in three goals, while Daniella Rios (Guaynabo, Puerto Rico /Sagrados Corazones) had two goals, four steals, and four assists
* Robie led the team in goal with seven saves, one steal, and two assists
