AMCC Announces Fall Sportsmanship Teams

ERIE, Pa. - The Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) announced the All-Sportsmanship Team for Fall 2018-19.

All institution sport teams which compete for an AMCC championship may select one member from their team who displays good sportsmanship throughout the season to be a member of the All-AMCC Sportsmanship Team. These individuals are selected by vote of their teammates.

Sophomore Emily Archer (Butler, PA/Butler) represented women's volleyball, senior Zac McCue (Prospect, PA/Slippery Rock) was chosen for men's golf, junior Erica Koenig (Pittsburgh, PA /Baldwin) was selected for women's cross country, sophomore Chris Drozynski (Stoneboro, PA/Lakeview) was nominated for men's cross country, and freshman Maggie Donley (Pittsburgh, PA/North Hills) was chosen for women's tennis. The teams voted Ben Magliocca (Slippery Rock, PA/Slippery Rock) for men's soccer and Catherine Eichenlaub (Wexford, PA/Pine Richland) for women's soccer.

The student-athlete selected must consistently demonstrate a high level of ethical conduct, respect and fair play in both practice and competition, whether on the sidelines or as an active competitor. Such sportsmanship shall be evident toward teammates, coaches, opponents, officials and fans. He/She must also serve as a positive representative of school spirit when a spectator at other teams' sporting events.
