Drozynski Receives AMCC Faculty Athletic Representative Award

ERIE, Pa. – Penn State Behrend senior cross country and track & field standout Chris Drozynski (Stoneboro, PA/Lakeview) has been voted the 2020 Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Male Faculty Athletic Representative (FAR) Award Winner.

Drozynski and Mt. Aloysius' Katie Mirance were chosen among 21 student-athletes named to the AMCC All-Academic Team, earning this prestigious honor after a successful four years in the classroom, the community and in their respective sport.

Drozynski, the Behrend Male Academic Athlete of the Year, graduated with a 3.98 GPA in computer engineering. He was a four-year member of the AMCC men's cross country All-Conference Team. Drozynski was also a four-year All-ECAC qualifier for the track & field team, while also earning All-Atlantic honors his junior and senior seasons. He represented his teams on the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and was inducted into Chi Alpha Sigma Honor Society. Drozynski also earned the Scholarship/Leadership Award for both cross country and indoor track & field his senior year.

Drozynski has accepted a job with Amazon in Seattle, WA and begins in June.
